EcoVadis is the global reference in CSR ratings. Operating in over 175 countries, it evaluates over 100,000 companies in more than 200 sectors, including Rexel Group and many of its suppliers!

Evolution of EcoVadis Assessment
As environmental challenges evolve throughout the years, EcoVadis constantly revises its survey by incorporating new questions. In addition to this, the scoring scale was raised in 2023. To achieve the Platinum medal, EcoVadis's highest ranking, a minimum of 78/100 points is now required (compared to 75 in 2022).
Evolution of the BizLine CSR Approach
Since we started the EcoVadis assessment in 2021, here are all the actions that have been implemented:
Environment
- Creation of PEP sheets (Product Environment Profile) to understand the environmental impacts of some of our products
- Launch of eco-designed products
- Optimization of packaging (reduction of plastic, eco-inking)
- Funding and participation in a renaturation project in Chelles (77), France
- Joining the FRET21 program to reduce our CO2 emissions from downstream transport
- Recycle consumables at the logistics warehouse (recyclable plastic film and adhesive)
- Earth Day (workshop & internal awareness)
- Training on environmental issues through workshops like La Fresque du Climat and Inventons Nos Vies Bas Carbone led by the Biz’Team
- Installation of 11 waste collection streams at the headquarters
- Partnership with providers of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) at the headquarters

BizLine 2023 Results:
Platinum All these actions have allowed us to, once again, obtain the Platinum medal with a score of 84/100.
Thanks to its detailed report, EcoVadis allows us to know our strengths and areas for improvement. This enables us to continue reducing our environmental and social impacts.
