Home + Control is an intuitive app jointly developed by Legrand and Netatmo to control Excel Life Smart and Arteor™ with Netatmo. It allows you to control your lights, wired or radio-controlled roller shutters, heating and electrical appliances remotely. With Home + Control, you can customise your preset life scenes, monitor your consumption and receive a notification if there is a power cut. The app is free of charge and is available from the App Store and Google Play

“The gateway can be easily installed by any registered electrician — it only takes up a couple of DIN spaces in the switchboard,” says Andy. “And once that’s done and it’s connected to the Wi-Fi, this opens the door for the entire home to be smart.” After installing the gateway, it’s just a matter of installing the new powerpoints that will connect to the gateway, which allows for users to remotely control them — and these are installed in the same way as any normal powerpoint. ”
